Pixelyforge is a small professional studio based on Lamu Road in Malindi, Kenya. We offer three core services to local and coastal businesses: branding and graphic design, online booking and appointment system setup, and digital products including websites and Google Business Profile configuration. Our clients are independent shop owners, clinic operators, hospitality providers, tour guides, and service professionals — anyone running a genuine small business in Malindi or the surrounding Kilifi County area who wants to present themselves professionally online without hiring a large-city agency. We serve businesses that operate primarily in English and Swahili, and we structure our work around clear deliverables with written briefs and defined timelines so that there are no surprises on either side. Since founding in 2019, we have completed over 60 projects for local businesses, with the majority of new clients coming through word-of-mouth referrals within the Malindi trading community.
How We Work — and What We Will Not Promise
Our process is direct, our timelines are realistic, and our limits are stated clearly before any contract is signed.
Every engagement begins with a written brief that both parties agree on before any design or development work begins. We work in structured phases — discovery, delivery, revision, and handover — and provide progress updates at the end of each phase. Our team of three handles all work in-house; we do not subcontract design or development overseas, which means your project stays within a team that understands Malindi's market conditions first-hand. We operate best with clients who can provide clear direction and timely feedback; projects where input is delayed by more than two weeks typically extend beyond the agreed timeline. We are honest about the fact that digital marketing results — particularly search engine rankings and social reach — depend on external factors we cannot control. We set the correct foundations and explain what to monitor, but we do not make guarantees about outcomes that lie beyond our direct work. If a requirement falls outside our scope — large-format production, complex e-commerce with inventory management, or multilingual customer support systems — we say so at the outset and, where possible, direct you to the appropriate specialist.
